The Horror Of Living In Reality

In the grand scheme of things,
You stand in the central position
And absorb the sun’s rays
As you take in the various gifts
That mankind has to offer,
Not giving one thought to
The various intracacies
In other people’s lives
Or that other people’s posessions
Are not yours
To thoughtlessly claim
As your own

This “reality” of yours
Is more like a virtual reality,
While the real world
Would make you tear yourself to shreds
in seconds
Because if you lived in reality
You’d find rather quickly:
No one owe’s you anything;
Not even time
Or an explanation.
