Who Will Grieve? Who Will Shed Tears For Me?

It burns inside here.
Withered and replaceable like I,
Of no value.
Like wheat in a field, the wind blows right through me.
Making plans like a madman,
Her lips bleed as she slowly fades away.
Held in arms that confuse and await the endless end.
I would give everything I have to get her back,
As everything else means so little now.
Just one more “I love you” and a warm hug;
Things I’ll never receive again from her.
And the silence throughout my home
So loud it blocks everything else out.
